01/The problem
Bedford had a founder thesis and a program concept, and needed to rapidly build out the team, product, growth engine, and operating system to run it.
DriveX joined as part of the founding team to build the learning experience, technology layer, go-to-market engine, and the operating system, within a tight launch window.
02/What we built
What we built
Built the core team
Defined key functions, sourced candidates, and embedded the founding team (learning & product, creator coaching, and marketing & growth), as well as Creators in Residence (faculty).
Hybrid learning product
Designed an interactive, AI-powered learning layer with Studio Sessions, Coach Workshops, Skill Labs, and Tutorials: a novel multi-modal experience with rolling starts and year-long subscriptions.
Custom student information system
Built a tailored SIS connecting exercises, coaching, community, and operations into one admin dashboard to monitor performance and manage at scale.
Zero-CAC growth engine
Stood up low- and zero-CAC channels: creator referrals, student referrals, an affiliate network, open studio sessions, and channel partners.
Enterprise Pipeline
Ran early B2B discovery that sharpened positioning and seeded a pipeline of enterprise and university relationships.
03/The outcome
The first cohorts launched with an operating model and a clear path to continued growth and iteration.
Bedford's full-time team set up to run product, GTM, admissions, coaching, and cohort operations, as DriveX moved into an advisory support capacity.
“Working with DriveX was one of the best decision we've made. It accelerated our learning, product development, and build out of our core team. We got to our first students, outcomes, and revenue faster than we could have on our own.”
